Folks

ISKA have a meet organised for the last weekend of this month and should be considered a must. I plan to meet on the Friday at 2pm for a 2 night camp.

Start working on the brownie points at home as this is one not to be missed.

These will be decided nearer the weekend, once there is a better idea of weather conditions.

We will possibly run along the islands SW, Duck, Inishmuskery and Birmore returning along Finish and Mweenish with option 2 taking in McDara's towards Gorteen Bay, Inishlacken and returning by Mason. Much will be decided on the Friday evening or Saturday morning, depending on the final group, numbers and experience. If conditions deteriorate, there is the choice of the internal bays nearby.

Can I suggest as many as possible bring a small bag of logs. We can share these out OR it will be easy enough to pop back to your car, having brought out the camping gear.

A great couple of days. Arrived over Friday afternoon, some paddling, snorkeling and craic around the fire that night. Weather could have been better Saturday however, we still had a great paddle and nice rolling seas around Mace. It dried up for the usual banter around the fire that evening. Only a small amount of paddling Sunday for some, before returning home. A stunning setting and paddle opportunities for every level in almost any condition.

By Saturday evening, there were 25 in total and you can be certain, we will return again.
