If you have not fished from your kayak and would like to give it a go but not sure what you need:

1. Hand line - unless you can make it yourself you can get one for approx €12 - cheap plastic handle type with orange hand line is perfect;
2. I find 6oz weight works fine - €1.50. Get 2;
3. A set of mackerel feathers - any fishing shop for €2.50. Get 1 set colored feathers and 1 set of foil type (i find these work best).

All in, no more than €20 approx and if you are in Ennis you will get the lot from Tierney's in Abbey St.

Don't tell them Conor sent you because they have absolutely no idea who the F... I am :?

CHANGE OF MEETING POINT - TRACHT BEACH @ 2PM

With concerns about traffic volumes and parking spots in Kinvara over the bank holiday weekend, we will instead meet at Tracht Beech. To alleviate any concerns about leaving your car there for the night Chris has spoken to John O'Connor, owner of Tracht Caravan Park. For €5, he will allow us park cars in the site for the night.
