Hey Folks, we haven't been out with the group yet but we are itching to. The green light has been given by the "chain of command". Is it definitely going to be scattery or is it still open to suggestions? It would be a great weekend for an Arran islands trips, nice little paddle out to to camp on Inisheer and maybe do a tour of Inishmaan?
Are there any solid plans yet??

Paddy

You have been warned!!

The weather has been terrible since you left. None of us have seen the inside of a kayak !!
I didn't spend the last 7 hours paddling in beautiful sunshine !!

There are no plans for trips to Aran for seafood chowder and pints !!

Nothing is happening at all ..... Really !!

;)

Thanks for the warning Conor, even the old mariner's charts said that , 'West of Ireland " There be monsters" and beyond that the edge of the world. Think I'll play safe and stay on land, and not go paddling tomorrow, HONEST.

Absolute gem of a paddle in the estuary yesterday. The "Scattering" went really well. 500 people both days I'm told...
We went up to Ardmore to find someone has tried to bulldoze it out of existence. Does that not belong to dept. of defence? Only in Ireland.....
Anyway, aside from that a fantastic paddle.
