I expect there is a scale or a graph out there somewhere which will tell you how much care paddlers might show for their boats. You would expect the least amount of care is given to plastic kayaks. Fiberglass boats are possibly next in line, carbon fiber further up and quite likely wooden strip kayaks at the very top, getting the most amount of care.

I would expect in your case however Etienne, your level of care is possibly right down at the very bottom and below that of plastic. Your solution and way around this - to just build a new one at least once a year!

If not, why not :D

Yep, I just can't bear being seen in a scratched boat. If I get a ding I just throw it away.

Sheercamps and bulkheads fitted, deck fittings installed, and skeg box and skeg control box made.
