Okay so.

We will meet 1700hrs Crovroghan slip Thursday evening.
Second half of this paddle will be night paddling !
So bring head torch (red light function if possible). Light sticks for boat.
Paddles must be tethered.
We might do a bit of night navigation so bring compass and pencil.

Other then that weather great. Sunset should be spectacular !
Moon is waxing. 74% illumination so we shouldn't need the torches.

Post if interested !

What about Dave or did we loose him in the dark.......

Craicing evening. A great paddle in amongst the islands in the dark, with currents just to raise the stakes a little. Stopping off in Griffin's bar, Ballynacally for a quick one on the way home. I would say the interior hasn't been updated nor changed in 50 years - real character.

The owner produced a frying pan, popped it on the fire, giving us pudding to fry up and all washed down with a lovely creamy pint :D
