folks

Canoe Ireland have organised a L4 assessment on the 1st March. At the moment, it is looking like Ali Donald is giving the assessment and exact location is to be confirmed.

I have submitted a booking form and if anyone is interested in attending, spaces are still available but limited.

Calendar and details:

Amongst other things, you should have already completed L3, with a full list of requirements as follows:

Do you need your L1 to get your L2 to get your L3 !
This could take some time

Looking to spend an hour or two on the water Saturday morning, brushing up on strokes and rescues (wet session) in advance of assessment. No plans for a paddle per se (sorry Rob, perhaps next time).

If anyone is interested, let me know.

Blowy tomorrow, F4/5 SSW and should be dry in the morning. Similar Sunday but wetter.

Saturday morning, I am heading to White Strand (Miltown Malbay) for 10am, for stoke work and to finish up with a short wet session. Big sea swell and will stay within the bay as opposed to going for a paddle. Expect to be on the water for an hour, two tops and home for lunch....

If you are interested, confirm in case there is a change.

Folks, canceling tomorrow, pretty crappy and winds could be higher again at the coast. A lie on instead.
