There were suggestions of a handy and local overnight on perhaps one of the Estuary islands this coming Friday night. HW Foynes 21.45 Friday and 10.15 Saturday morning, with a 5m swing would make a trip to Inishloe a perfect choice. Would anyone be interested in a 4pm meet at Crovraghan?

I will need to be home for 10ish on the Saturday morning, leaving it to others to arrange an extended paddle in the area that morning themselves and am comfortable heading in by myself if needs be.

HI
I will be there, inishloe sounds like a great idea. the tides are perfect. I will not be doing a long paddle just out to the island and back as my elbow is still not right but I don't have to be in as early as conor.
looking forward to it already.

Looking at the tide times etc., we might be better off delaying our meeting until 5pm. Giving up to an hour to pack and load before setting off and paddling out at our leisure, we should arrive on the island between 6.30 and 7.00, which should be the target. Too early and we may not be able to get straight in.

Same day, place however, meeting at 5pm instead.

Yippee! I get to try out my new tent :)

Dee, I think we can leave the hot water bottles behind for a change!

Can everyone please bring 2 and preferably 3 logs each - they do not have to be big. If everyone does this, we have the bones of a nice fire to sit around for the evening :D
