Conditions looking nice for a twilight paddle Saturday before the party:)
Meet Crovraghan 3:30pm. HW14:40
Will decide route on shore depending on conditions and who turns up.
But hope to go to Beeves for tea, and be off the water by 6:30pm.

We'll be paddling after dark so if you haven't done a night paddle before talk to me or someone else who has.
At a minimum you need, as well as all the usual kit for a winter paddle:
- Head torch, with red setting so you don't ruin the night vision for others
- Reflector strips on paddle and boat
- Glow sticks to hang on boat and PDF
- paddle leash
Post here or call me if you want to join us.

conditions still looking peachy for this :)

As some people need to get home to paint their toenails before the party, here's a minute-by-minute itinerary:
3:30pm - Arrive Crovraghan
4:00pm - On the water
4:55pm - Team speedy gonzales arrive Beeves
5:10pm - Team laid-back-stragglers arrive Beeves.
5:15pm - photo-shoot of sunset at Beeves, everyone smiling nicely
5:16pm - team speedy-gonzales start looking at their watches and muttering under their breath about which colour nail-varnish they won't have time to apply.
5:20pm - Team speedy-gonzales sitting in kayaks circling Beeves.
5:30pm - Team laid-back-stragglers almost ready.
5:35pm - All depart Beeves together.
6:40pm - All arrive back together at Crovraghan :) It's a night paddle. We'll be staying together, so paddling at a pace comfortable for all. Bite your tongue, and smile :)

8ish - Griffin's - smelly or not get there when you can.

All completely subject to change due to weather, mood swings, mutiny or leadership heave :)

I suppose we should take consolation in the fact that in the dark no one can see you scream.
We will hear you .... just won't be able to find you

See ya on the pier 1530hrs ish !!!

Super paddle, calm, clear skies, no moon and once dark shooting stars galore to add to the mix. Great fun in the pub afterwards, a quiz with dubious quizmaster, stories, slagging with no prisoners - your typical WISKA get together :D
